By definition, the difference between blizzard and a snowstorm is the strength of the wind. Ground blizzards are a variation on the traditional blizzard, in that ground blizzards require high winds to stir up snow that has already fallen, rather than fresh snowfall. Regardless of the variety of blizzard, they can bring near-whiteout conditions, which restrict visibility to near zero. Our boss said our latest competition could be to find an interesting blizzard flavor for the July flavor of the month. I have come up with the Idea of Smores (mixing chocolate syrup, marshmallow topping, and graham cracker crumbs), peanut butter and jelly (which turned out disgusting), and roasted almond by mixing almonds with sugar and cinnamon. I need more ideas!
