What is the best snow blower for a 100ft plus straight driveway?
Q. I'm buying a snow blower for my dad for one of his Christmas gifts. What would be the best one?

A. Agreed on something around 6hp for a minimum on engine power but also consider going for a 2-stage model instead of a single-stage model. You'll be glad you did. You'll want it to last for quite a few years so when you see how steep some of the price tags get, just divide that number by 10 & figure that's what it'll cost per-year over 10 years. Not so bad when you think of it that way. If you really want all-out dependability & longevity with very little chance on breakdown, hence very minimum maintenance repair & cost, go for the Honda. Right now they'll seem major expensive but when you're out there in frigid 10deg weather with 2' of snow, you're gonna be real happy that it starts within the first 2 pulls.
